Recently, an AI video tool has sent social networks into a minor frenzy.

Enter the prompt “couple,” select “Spicy Mode,” and the AI will unhesitatingly make them remove their clothes. This simple and crude AI is Grok Imagine v0.9, which Musk updated with great fanfare on October 5th.

Its appearance came just two days after OpenAI released a brand new video model and social application that quickly topped the App Store charts. Musk continues to choose what he considers the boldest and most eye-catching way to participate in this increasingly fierce AI video generation competition.

But his goals don’t stop there. Musk has declared that he wants to use Grok to produce a movie worth watching by the end of 2026. Can this AI, infused with a Spicy soul, really support Musk’s filmmaking dreams? We conducted in-depth testing at the first opportunity.

My impression is that its generation speed is truly astonishing. After entering a prompt, Grok Imagine directly provides an image stream filled with endless AI-generated images; each image has a play button in the lower right corner that can directly convert it into a video.

Besides speed, what remains is probably Grok Imagine’s unique Spicy Mode. Sometimes, it demonstrates a kind of unconventional charm in creative style, especially when handling bold creative content that other AI models might avoid.

Compared to the v0.1 version released in August, this update brings significant upgrades in image quality, dynamic effects, and audio generation.
